On building quietly

Most of what I admire was built by people who said very little while they were building it.

There is a temptation, in an era of building in public, to narrate every step — the roadmap, the metrics, the lessons learned before the lesson is even over. I understand the appeal. Attention compounds. But so does noise.

The work I return to has a different quality. It shipped before it spoke. It let the user find it, rather than chasing the user down. It aged well because it was made for the problem, not for the announcement.

So this page will stay sparse. When there is something worth saying, it will appear here. When there isn’t, the silence is the update.
